As far as Mexican food goes in Fort Collins, it's really not bad. In fact, I started coming here about 3 years ago with my husband, and over the years it's really grown on me. It's a long-standing tradition in his family to visit this place at least twice a year when they visit the area, and the food is very nostalgic for them as his parents have been coming here since they first got together over 40 years ago!

The sauce they put on the pacorito is odd and delicious. It's almost like a Mexican gravy. My husband orders the chorizo burrito and it's loaded up with all sorts of good stuff! The kids options are great and for dessert they can choose between a push pop or ice cream sandwich.

The big thing here is that if you're used to either authentic Mexican food or tex-mex, this place is neither of those things and for that reason can be off-putting. It's not bad; it's just different.

Overall, I will return every summer when I'm visiting this area.

This is a tiny hole in the wall place and I couldn't believe there was actually people coming in there to eat lunch. I seek out fringe opportunities for dining but this is nothing I can recommend. Bad Mexican food terrible green chili sauce probably right out of the can. Their signature items are an enchilada stuffed inside a burrito so that should give you some insight.   $2.40 extra to have lettuce and cheese on top of your burrito and hardly any at that.

Driving by that place daily for 20 years and I was afraid to stop by because not too many people were there which it made me think that place might have poor service and bad foods I decided to give a try......I KNEW I was right! Their foods were horrible! They made us terrible margaritas. I could tell that their cold sauce came out of cans. Wont be surprised if the health inspection failed in the past. We will never return to their restaurant in the future.

This is the worst restaurant I've been to in Fort Collins. The owner was such a nice guy, so I feel really bad writing this, but I honestly thought they were joking when they brought our entire meal out within three minutes of ordering.
Both of our burritos were room temperature, the chicken in my enchilada/burrito hybrid thing was canned from Costco, and the green chile sauce was a salty, goopy, one-note nightmare.
After upgrading our margaritas to the 'Mucho' option with more tequila, I still had to ask our server twice if they were virgin drinks because they tasted like watered-down generic juice boxes.
The salsa is canned tomato sauce, and they charged us for 'avocado dip' which we ordered, but they never delivered (once the food came, we knew we didn't want anything else from that kitchen and figured they wouldn't charge us for the dip, but they did). The hostess was also about as warm and welcoming as a snowball with razor blades hidden in it.

I honestly cannot fathom how this place has stayed open for so long. This is far worse Mexican than two 18 year olds could cook up in a smoke-filled dorm room with a microwave, way too expensive for the quality, and the tables were sticky and gross.

Zero stars if I could... let this sweet old guy retire and put this place out of its misery.

This is probably the worst restaurant in Fort Collins. The first impression was terrible. The menu had wet food on it, obviously previously wiped with a dirty towel. The server was rude and had a terrible attitude. Acting like we were inconveniencing her being there. We reluctantly ordered. The food came luke warm and inedible. Obviously nothing was homemade. Boiled chicken with a slimy, runny green chili sauce. They really need to take a hard look at how their running their restaurant and preparing their food.
